GoPro has rolled out the Battery BacPac for HD Hero Camera. The device works as both a charger for your spare HD Hero batteries and plugs into the back of the 1080p HD Hero camera to nearly double record times. When attached, the BacPac extends video and time-lapse photo record times of the HD Hero camera for up to 5-hour. This battery pack can be recharged via a USB port with the included cable. There is an onboard LED indicators that show charge status. Priced at $49 each, the Battery BacPac comes equipped with a 1100mAh Li-ion battery, one waterproof and one protective door for the HD Hero, and a USB cable.
